Overview
FOX5 is a cellular edge device that collects data from generators, HVAC plant, fuel tanks, compressors and vehicles and sends it to the cloud over 4G LTE Cat 1 bis. It connects to assets through RS-485, RS-232, CAN bus, 1-Wire and BLE 5.4, and reads vehicle data via OBD-II and J1939. Logic written in Lua or PFAL runs on the device to filter and process data locally, which reduces cellular and cloud costs. Fleets are provisioned and managed through Lantronix Percepxion.
