Overview
Smart Spot is Libelium's field sensing platform for cities, in two configurations. Smart Spot Air measures gases, particulate matter, temperature, humidity, pressure and noise, and can connect a weather station. Smart Spot Crowd detects the WiFi and Bluetooth signals of nearby phones and wearables to show how busy a place is and how people move between monitored areas, without cameras and with identifiers obfuscated for data protection.

Wide air quality coverage
NO2, H2S, O3, NO, SO2, NH3 and CO at 1 ppb resolution, plus CO2, VOC and optical particle counting.
Camera free crowd counting
Counts WiFi and Bluetooth devices every 1, 5 or 10 minutes, with MAC identifiers always obfuscated.
Choice of network
WiFi, 4G, GSM-GPRS or NB-IoT, with a LoRaWAN version of Smart Spot Air that keeps WiFi or 4G as backup.
Built for the street
IP65 flame resistant enclosure, anti-vandalism mounting and accelerometer based tamper detection.
Open integration
MQTT and Sentilo, FIWARE ready, with remote configuration over LwM2M.
