Overview
Athena is a Direct RF system-on-module based on the Altera Agilex 9 AGRW027 SoC FPGA, with integrated 10-bit ADCs and DACs at 64 Gsps and analogue bandwidth up to 36 GHz. Converting RF directly on chip reduces system complexity and latency. The 100 x 75 mm module adds DDR4 for the fabric and the HPS and 16 transceivers at 56 Gbps PAM4, and a matching carrier board is available. Target applications include phased-array radar, electronic warfare, broadband communication, radar target simulation and airborne systems.
