Consensys GSR Development Kits

Overview

Consensys GSR is a Shimmer3R kit for monitoring physical activity and emotional arousal. It captures skin conductance (galvanic skin response or electrodermal activity), photoplethysmography and continuous heart rate, together with 3-axis accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer and altimeter data, all measured at the same time. Data can be streamed live to ConsensysPRO or logged to the SD card, and kits come with one to fifteen sensors.

Key features

GSR and PPG together

Captures skin conductance and optical pulse from a single sensor at the same time.

Four measurement ranges

Digitally controlled GSR ranges, with gain fixed or selected automatically.

Heart rate from PPG

Estimates heart rate using the supplied optical pulse finger probe or ear clip.

Extra input channels

A 3.5 mm jack provides two extra channels for analogue or digital data capture.
