Shimmer3R ECG and EBio

Overview

The Shimmer3R ECG unit is a wearable sensor with a configurable digital front end for 5-wire, 4-channel ECG on resting or ambulatory subjects, and it can also be set up for 2-channel EMG. The Shimmer3R Ebio unit measures bioimpedance and/or ECG across the chest of resting subjects to give real-time indications of respiration. Both are part of the 2025 Shimmer3R platform and can stream data live or log it to an SD card.
