Overview

Lantronix Wi-Fi device gateways connect industrial IoT assets and serial or USB equipment to enterprise networks over Wi-Fi and Ethernet. The SGX 5150 is a dual-band 802.11ac gateway with serial, USB and Ethernet ports and enterprise Wi-Fi security, and the SGX 5150-MD is an IEC 60601 certified version for medical devices. Lantronix positions these gateways for robotics, industrial, medical, energy, retail and transportation networks.

Key features

Dual-band Wi-Fi

The SGX 5150 supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.

Serial, USB and Ethernet

Up to two RS-232 or RS-232/422/485 ports, a USB 2.0 Type-C host or device port and 10/100 Ethernet.

Enterprise security

WPA2-Enterprise with EAP-TLS, EAP-TTLS, EAP-PEAP and EAP-FAST, plus secure boot and FIPS 140-2 Level 1 certification.

Medical version

The SGX 5150-MD is certified to IEC 60601-1 and 60601-1-2 4th Edition and ships with a medical power supply.

Wide temperature range

The SGX 5150 operates from -40 to +70 C.
