Overview
Ares is a 107 x 85 mm system-on-module based on an Intel Agilex 7 F-Series SoC FPGA with a quad-core Arm Cortex-A53, offered with AGF012 or AGF027 devices. It provides 24 GB of DDR4 across three banks, PCIe Gen4 endpoint and root complex links, and up to 32 transceivers through mezzanine connectors. A matching carrier board is available, and target markets include bioscience, instrumentation, quantum computing, radar, electronic warfare and satellite communication.

Pin-compatible FPGA range
The R24C package is pin compatible from AGF006 (600 KLE) up to AGF027 (2.7 MLE).
High-speed transceivers
Up to 32 transceivers at 32 Gbps NRZ, or up to 16 at 58 Gbps PAM4.
PCIe Gen4
Provides a PCIe Gen4 x16 endpoint and a PCIe Gen4 x8 root complex.
Embedded Linux
128 GB eMMC holds U-Boot, the Linux kernel and root file system built with Yocto.
Industrial grade
Industrial temperature parts with long-term supply, rated -40 to +70 C.
Carrier board
The RXCAGF-CBD0SA carrier board is available as a development platform.
