Overview
This version of the Vulcan system-on-module uses the AMD Versal AI Edge VE2802 adaptive SoC, adding 304 AI Engines to 1140K logic cells, 1312 DSP engines and dual-core Arm Cortex-A72 and Cortex-R5F processors. It shares the Prime version's 84 x 54 mm board, 24 GB of LPDDR4, 25 Gbps GTYP transceivers and PCIe Gen4 interfaces, and uses the same carrier board. The AI Engines target machine learning inference, computer vision and sensor fusion at the edge, alongside radar and electronic warfare processing.
