Overview
Vulcan is an 84 x 54 mm system-on-module built around the AMD Versal Prime VM2202 adaptive SoC, with dual-core Arm Cortex-A72 and Cortex-R5F processors, 1140K logic cells and 1312 DSP engines. It provides 24 GB of LPDDR4 on the NoC, 16 GTYP transceivers at 25 Gbps plus 16 CPM transceivers for PCIe Gen4, and up to 92 HDIO and XPIO. The module ships with a heat spreader and heatsink and pairs with the Vulcan carrier board for evaluation, for instrumentation, quantum computing, vision analytics, airborne, radar and electronic warfare systems.
