Overview
The XpressSX AGI-FH401G is a full-height, half-length PCIe network processing board built on an Intel Agilex 7 I-Series SoC FPGA with a quad-core Arm Cortex-A53. It combines a PCIe Gen5 x16 host interface that is CXL endpoint compatible with 400 Gigabit Ethernet and up to 72 GB of DDR4. Reflex CES targets it at security SmartNICs, high-performance networking and FPGA-based acceleration, and offers it with the DYNANIC SmartNIC software stack from a partner.

Key features
400G Ethernet
A single board supports 10G, 40G, 100G, 200G and 400G Ethernet over 8 x 58G lanes.
PCIe Gen5 with CXL
The PCIe Gen5 x16 edge interface is CXL endpoint compatible, with a separate CXL IP license possibly required.
Extra PCIe links
Four HSI connectors carry 32 more transceivers for PCIe Gen5 endpoint or root port use, and a supplied daughter card brings full Gen5 x16 to the server.
Large memory
One 8 GB on-board DDR4 bank is shared by SoC and FPGA, plus two SO-DIMM sockets of up to 32 GB each.
Open-source framework
The NDK development framework adds a 400 Gbps DMA, DPDK support and a demo NIC application.
Integrated Arm cores
The quad-core Cortex-A53 runs a Yocto-based Linux supplied in the board support package.
