Shimmer2r Wireless EMG Sensor

Overview

The Wireless EMG Sensor was Shimmer's surface EMG daughterboard and enclosure for the second generation Shimmer2r baseboard, sold under code SH-EMG-KIT-002 with the baseboard supplied separately. It recorded one differential EMG channel with disposable snap electrodes and could stream to a host or log to the baseboard's microSD card. Shimmer lists Shimmer2r as legacy hardware and states that Shimmer2r daughterboards are not compatible with Shimmer3. Its current equivalent is the Shimmer3R EMG Unit, which records two EMG channels with software configurable gain.
