Shimmer3R GSR+ Unit

Overview

The Shimmer3R GSR+ Unit measures skin conductance (electrodermal activity) between two electrodes on two fingers of one hand. A 3.5 mm auxiliary jack accepts Shimmer's finger or ear clip optical pulse probe, so a PPG signal can be recorded and converted to an estimate of heart rate. Motion data from the unit's 10 DoF sensors can be captured at the same time, and data can be streamed over Bluetooth or logged to the microSD card. Shimmer recommends the Consensys GSR Development Kit for first time users, as a dock is needed for charging and configuration.

Four measurement ranges

Pulse and heart rate
