Overview

The GW5224 is the higher specification standard configuration of the Gateworks Ventana GW5220 board, part of the fifth-generation Ventana family of rugged single board computers. It uses an NXP i.MX6 quad-core Arm Cortex-A9 at 1 GHz with 1 GB DDR3, 2 GB flash and GPS. The 70 x 100 mm board has Gigabit Ethernet with PoE input, two Mini-PCIe sockets, HDMI and LVDS outputs, analogue video and audio, CAN and serial ports. Gateworks no longer recommends this board for new designs and suggests its Venice family instead.
