VeniceFLEX

Overview

VeniceFLEX is a Gateworks single board computer family based on the NXP i.MX 8M Plus with a quad-core Cortex-A53 at 1.6 GHz. Its main difference from Venice is the Flexible Socket Adapter sites, which take M.2 or Mini-PCIe adapters over PCIe 3.0, so one board design can carry Wi-Fi, cellular, NVMe or AI cards. The boards are designed to be CE ready, rated -40 to +85 °C and made in the USA.

Flexible Socket Adapters

Each FSA site takes an adapter for M.2 E-key Wi-Fi, M.2 B-key modems, M.2 M-key NVMe or AI cards, or Mini-PCIe.

PCIe 3.0

The flexible sockets use PCIe 3.0 along with USB 3.0.

CE ready

Designed to pass surge, burst and ESD requirements for CE industrial products.

Isolated CAN and serial

Two isolated CAN bus ports plus RS232/RS485 and TTL serial.

Security options

Optional TPM, with an NXP EdgeLock SE052F listed among family features.

Wide DC input

Accepts 8 to 60 VDC, or 802.3af/at PoE through an optional adapter.
